It's a wonderful day here 348 miles to Madeira and sailing at 9 KTS with our 1.5 kite up and full main.
We've been trying to do a spot of fishing but not had much luck yet - I guess the boat is going too quickly.
We've only been at sea for 24 hours and already we've solved all the World's problems - we should be awarded the Nobel peace prize when we get in.
anyway beer et back up on deck trim trim trim.

Hi Rog and the team. If you did not get my last missive just to say that we are all rooting for you and the crew. Hope the wind as favourable as in Mauritius with 4-6 every day S.E. Trade winds. Indian summer here with high temp and lovely autumn colours. Keep up the good work and keep putting the world to rights and not too much beer! Sleep deprivation is a problem on endurance challenges so factor in some general irritability and some swings from euphoria to dark gloom! It is all so worthwhile. Lots love and beat the hell out of the other boats but no using those torpedoes Roger!
